Sungdong Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering has signed order contracts for 4 x 8 800 TEU’s. Two for Mediterranean Shipping Co, S.A. (MSC), Switzerland and two for Costamare, Greece.
The units feature 300 meters in length, 48.2 meters in breadth and 24.6 meters in height and will be delivered from 2013 one by one.
The yard is holding naming ceremonies for four ships during January and delivering six units.
