Ulstein Power & Control has signed a comprehensive contract for supply of equipment packages to yard number 295 at Ulstein Verft. The vessel is an offshore IMR / construction vessel of Ulstein´s SX148 design for the shipping company Eidesvik Seven AS and their client Statoil.
Ulstein Verft entered into a contract with the shipping company in February this year. Ulstein Power & Control was recently contracted to deliver a complete equipment delivery for the ship.
“The equipment deliveries from Ulstein Power & Control include the integrated automation system ULSTEIN IAS®, the information and communication system ULSTEIN COM®, bridge solutions and power distribution”, says sales manager at Ulstein Power & Control, Peter Pilskog, adding that the IAS system includes integrated monitoring of the helicopter deck.
The bridge deliveries include the company’s new-developed modular console system that provides easier installation in the construction phase and a more flexible solution for the end user.
The ship is an advanced vessel which meets the customer´s specific requirements with regards to functionality and system integration. The vessel will be 106.5 metres long and 24.5 metres wide and can reach a speed of 17 knots. The ship will accommodate 90 persons.
